GlucoMen Day CGM Sensor (2 pieces)

The GlucoMen Day® CGM is a real-time subcutaneous Continuous Glucose Monitoring system. Thanks to the unique sensor technology, a small sensor wire is placed under the skin (without a needle) and the electrochemical enzymatic sensor can measure the glucose level for 14 days. The data is stored by the transmitter and sent via Bluetooth to the associated app, which shows the new glucose value every minute. Your glucose value is therefore continuously measured.

The sensor is stuck to the skin with an insertion system and then measures your glucose subcutaneously. Because no accompanying insertion needle is needed, there is much less risk of bleeding and, according to studies, the reported insertion pain is 1,3 (on a pain scale of 0-20) and therefore less painful than finger pricks (4,9).

Additional information

The CGM system consists of a sensor, a rechargeable transmitter (not included with this product) and your own telephone or an optional receiver. You also use the GlucoMen Day Meter (not included, order separately) that automatically sends calibration values ​​(1 per day) to the app.
