A specialized and user-friendly online store for diabetes aids that gives everyone direct access to the right materials. Diabetesmagazijn.nl was founded in 2018 with that in mind. We now serve tens of thousands of customers per year.
Pricing
Large manufacturers have been able to keep their prices high for years through agreements with insurers. If an insurer paid a certain compensation, there was no reason for the manufacturer to drop their prices below that compensation. This system has changed radically in recent years. Rates are now fairer and are not determined by insurers. This has resulted in a significant price drop. Which is nice, because many diabetics (type 2) do not get reimbursed for their aids.
Diabetesmagazijn focuses on purchasing. We purchase materials in bulk and negotiate prices with suppliers. This way you pay a good price. Are we the cheapest? We don't claim that. It's not our goal either. We deliver quickly, continue shipping until midnight every day, respond to questions quickly, and invest in IT and quality content. Of course we are affordable. Much cheaper than the pharmacy, for example.
Speed
Of course you want to receive your order as quickly as possible. Speed is essential, especially when you have to measure often. We understand that like no other. That's why we ship every day until 23:59 PM. Also on Sunday! If you order before 23:59 PM, you will receive your order the next day. We ship (in the Netherlands) with DHL. In addition, if you order more than €40 worth of products, shipping is completely free for you. So fast and free!
But we also respond quickly to questions. Our customer service responds on average within 45 minutes! You can ask your questions via Whatsapp and email. We are did not reachable by phone!
Plenty of choice
With our wide range we can serve everyone with type 2 diabetes. We supply products from Accu-Chek, Contour and, for example, Freestyle. These are great trusted brands. These are often slightly more expensive. That is why we also offer products from discounters such as Diatesse and CareSens. These brands are smaller, but are quickly gaining popularity. We sell glucose meters, test strips, lancets, pen needles and all kinds of related products. We also offer a wide range of incontinence materials from Tena.
Different languages
To make our website as accessible as possible, we offer all texts on the site in different languages. Of course in Dutch, but also in English, French and German. This way we can also better serve people who do not speak Dutch – or do not speak it well. The texts are translated automatically. Small errors may therefore occur. We ship to the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Germany.
Please note that the products are intended for the Dutch market. But fortunately there are usually other languages on the packaging and instructions for use.
Seen on TV
In 2021, we broadcast an advertising campaign on television together with Wellion. The spots revolved around measuring glucose and cholesterol. Because in addition to glucose, you can also measure your (total) cholesterol yourself. Just with the same meter. Check out one of the spots:
Discount
We would like to keep you as a customer. That's why we reward loyalty. A regular customer will receive at least a 10% discount on every purchase using the discount code on a flyer that is included with the order. In addition to that flyer, we also communicate additional discounts and offers via newsletters. Please note that you cannot 'stack' different discounts. If you order from us, you will automatically receive that newsletter. Would you rather not receive a newsletter? You can of course easily unsubscribe.
Satisfied customers
That's what we ultimately do it for. You must be satisfied. Fortunately, the vast majority of our customers are this too. We monitor customer satisfaction via Kiyoh. Here we score a 9,3 out of 10. We are satisfied with that, but we can always do better. We occasionally receive feedback through Kiyoh that we can use to continue to improve our services.
